The town of Grand Lake is an amazing place at the foot of western side of Rocky Mountain National Park. It sits on the largest natural lake in Colorado called Grand Lake. Trail Ridge Road is right next to town and will take you through the RMNP into Estes Park during the summer months. The town’s setting and views are spectacular.
A historic board walk in town dates back to the 1800’s and the marina is known as the highest yacht club in the world (Grand Lake Marina). At the marina you can rent boats and paddleboards for water sport activities. Granby and Hot Sulphur Springs are the closest nearby towns and you also have access to Lake Granby, a very big reservoir between Granby and Grand Lake. The all-season activities include world class fishing, water sports, jeep tours, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and xc skiing.
