The town of Fraser is Winter Park’s next door neighbor with activities that are well suited to all seasons of the year. The town is a very short drive to downtown Winter Park where you can enjoy the restaurants and shops that make the area a favorite of visitors and locals. It has a population of about 1,300 people and offers year round recreation at the Fraser Valley Recreation Center, the IceBox Ice Rink, and the Fraser Valley Sports Complex.
Fraser is home to its own distiller and breweries as well as a Safeway shopping center, ski shops, restaurants, gift and clothing stores. The historic tubing hill is one of the most well-known in Colorado and the surrounding area includes direct access to trails for mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, fishing, and xc skiing.
