I’m based out of Granby, Colorado, but serving all of Grand County.
Say, I was just on my way out the door to go meet with some homeowners to potentially list their home, and I put together a five-step or a list of five things that they can do to make their house more presentable to a buyer.
And I just thought I would pop in real quick and share those with you. So, here we go.
First is to simplify all personal belongings. So, any family photos, kids’ photos, anything that is of personal nature to you. Pack that away right away.
Second of all, we’re gonna streamline all countertops. So, any magazines or mail or books or anything like that on the countertops, simplify, simplify, simplify.
Three, we’re gonna organize closets. Well, that does sound like a daunting chore. It does make a difference to the buyers cause they also want to see how much room there is in your closets.
Fourth is to clean your house top to bottom including the garage. Especially if somebody has a lot of toys or cars, they wanna make sure everything will fit well.
And then the fifth item is to brighten the light. Make sure that you have all the same temperature light bulbs in each of the fixtures. Not only will it show better for photographs but it will also brighten up the space and make buyers easier to see themselves in that space.
